¡Hola mi familia y mis amigos!
Well, it's the day before Christmas and we're going to try to pass by the 800 people that want us to go by and see them for the holiday so that no one feels sad that the missionaries couldn't get around to them to wish them a merry Christmas, and also because we really do love them. Therefore, we're not going to spend too much time here on the computers so that we can get out early and make the rounds.
Here in Chile, Christmas Eve is more exciting than Christmas day, because Christmas Eve is for all the parties and the big dinner and opening presents at midnight and all the jazz, and Christmas day is for sleeping and not doing anything at all. Tonight, we're going to be with Dennis and Carolina, who invited us over to spend la Noche Buena with them, eat, and be merry.
We're working on getting the boundaries of our branch tweaked a little bit because there's a part of our sector that would be really convenient to have in our branch, but really quite inconvenient in the neighboring branch, (it's 2 km from our chapel and 12 from the other chapel) and there are no real members in it right now, so we're just going to take it over and begin working in it because it has way good potential for future investigators. We talked with the mission president, who's in charge since we're in a district, not a stake, and he said to go for it and send him the map so he could approve the change, so I was doing that during my computer time up til now. Hopefully we can get that to go, since we'll have 4 baptisms almost immediately from the change from the family of 12 that contacted us a week ago. (They live about 20 yards outside our current limit.)
The gingerbread houses looked really good! We have some pretty good architects in the family! Merry Christmas Eve, I love you all!
